Normally, having a short and easy to remember name is quite an advantage for a brand, however, it can also be a graphic challenge. This time, we had to find an alternative for Polo away from similarly named brands such as the Volkswagen car, the clothing brand or the candies. That's why we opted for a Sans Condensed typeface that reminds us in a certain way to movie poster typography since Polo is a production company specializing in advertising cinema. In addition, their request was to find a somewhat enigmatic symbology and escape from black and white exclusively to be different to their competitors. We based ourselves in the shooting equipment modular system that Polo has for their projects and we created a series of pieces that are born from the logo, with a somewhat risky color palette that creates a strong brand awareness feeling on their clients.
